Immerse yourself in an intensive one-week course in the glorious WA outback. In a friendly atmosphere, learn practical techniques to identify bush birds and find out how to contribute valuable scientific data. Best of all, the courses are free! You will be able to wake up to the dawn chorus of aridzone birds, staying on a property in the Gunduwa region, where the Midwest, Wheatbelt and Goldfields meet.
The next week-long course will be held at Thundelarra Station. Participants must organise their own meals and transport, but accommodation will be provided. Participants of varied skill levels are welcome; the only prerequisite is a desire to learn more about birds. Binoculars and field guides will be supplied for those who don't have their own.
When: 23rd – 27th October
Location: Thundelarra Station, Gunduwa region WA
To register or for more information email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (08) 9383 7749.
